"MAKEUP SECRETS"

Do you have a
drawer filled with makeup
THAT DOESN'T WORK?
"MAKEUP
SECRETS, Color Choices & Application"
will help you find the makeup that works for
YOU. And, you will discover secrets that you won't find
in print anywhere else!
"The training session
you gave for our group was eye opening. I never
realized the cosmetic industry has created colors that
are not appropriate for most people. It is important to
spend time with someone like Sandy Dumont who really
knows colors. It was amazing to see how just changing
the foundation and blusher colors totally changed
everyone's looks - and took years off."

me. And if you are located near any of the cities where

individual workshops, there is a strong
likelihood that I can also be in your city.

Shortcut to Decisions
|
| |
Chris
Powell is a sales executive
who increased his results
from 65% to nearly 100%
when he changed the way
he looked. Imagine, for
the moment, that Chris is
a Realtor, and that you
will soon be re-located
to a new city and have gone
there for one week in order
to buy a house. You don't
have time to waste, so you
need a Realtor who is thoroughly
professional and experienced.
No part-timer or inexperienced
"greenhorn" for you! You
need an expert that you
can trust. Which of the
two men would you choose?
The question could just
as easily have been, "which
atorney, clothing salesman,
banker, insurance or financial
advisor would you choose?"
Harvard University has shown that you will size a
person up in about two seconds - and that those
impressions are lasting. And according to Robert
Cialdini, PhD, social psychologist and author of the
book, "INFLUENCE, the Psychology of Persuasion," we
are bombarded daily with decisions to make, and
without the time to thoroughly investigate every
situation, we use "shortcuts" to help us choose and
decide. We classify things according to a few key
features, and then we respond mindlessly when one or
another of these trigger features is present. And what
are some of those trigger features?

DARK CIRCLES
|
| |
Melanin is the key to whether or not you have dark
circles under the eyes. Fair skin has less melanin, so
circles may simply be the blood vessels underneath the
skin peeking through and looking faintly "purple." Darker
skins have more melanin, resulting in darker
circles.
Under-eye circles are worsened by rubbing
the eyes,
allergies, and pollutants such as cigarette smoke or
smog. The best prevention for dark circles is a strong
sunscreen (or wearing sunglasses) to ward off melanin
production, avoiding pollutants, or using
antihistamines.
Dermatologists agree that
hydroquinone is the best product for lightening the skin
and reversing severe hyper pigmentation. Sensitive
skins need a gentler lightener, and all products need to
be used under a doctor's supervision.
Cosmetic Concealers
Cosmetic concealers are touted as the cosmetic cure
for dark circles, but they have a big drawback. Most of
them are too yellow and end up looking cakey and
heavy. If you have fair skin, look for a concealer with
subtle pink tones a shade darker than your skin. If you
have dark skin, go for a copper-toned concealer a
shade or two lighter than your skin.
