Greetings,
My California trip was truly memorable. I did
workshops in San Diego, Malibu and Los Angeles, but
the highlight of my trip was spending time in Beverly
Hills with my dear friend from my London days,
actress Kathryn Leigh Scott. Amazingly
enough, my
fabulous London hairdresser also lives in LA now, and
the
three of us re-united at Maggie's hair salon,
where
Kathryn and I got haircuts. To hear about Kathryn's
latest book "Murder in Prime Time", a mystery
set in
LA that gives a peek at Hollywood TV and film life,

The photo you see is from a two-hour documentary
presented recently on National Public
Television. It
was entitled "People Like Us" and chronicled
how
Americans look at people and judge them according
to socio-economic background, success in life, etc.
The couple you see was unanimously judged to
be "upper class." The man was thought to be a CEO.
Here is the question for you: From the woman's
appearance, does she also appear to be a
successful business executive? Or is she more likely
to spend her days playing bridge or doing charity
work?
