Furthermore, large patterns suggest "large" in general. In addition, billowy garments suggest that you may have a billowy figure. Stick to solids with suits, and save the patterns for blouses and tops. Jan's black top would look great worn outside with a pair of straight-legged black pants. Adding natural- looking shoulder pads would give balance and prevent her from looking smaller on the top than on the bottom. A wide, low-slung belt with a bold buckle would dress up her look, and black, close-toed shoes would look smarter than sandles. As Jan discovered, dark colors look authoritative, and they are also very slimming. She looks two sizes smaller in her navy blue suit, plus she looks more polished and confident. Jan's white blouse shows off the beautiful white streaks in her hair, and her upated hairdo and bold earrings complete her dynamic new look. Remember, for ultimate slimming, create a "sweeping" effect by wearing a pantsuit in (any!) one color from head to toe. You will kill two birds with one stone, because pantsuits in solid colors look great and are versatile, since can be dressed up or down - PLUS they make you look pounds thinner!

You could also try one of the many home whitening kits now available. Good Housekeeping recently evaluated a number of these kits and gave their approval to several. Top ratings went to Crest White Strips, as it was judged to produce the "brightest smile." This product will make your teeth five shades lighter in seven days, with very little discomfort to the gums. Rembrandt's product, "Two Hour White", will make your teeth three shades lighter in only two hours, but subjects reported that there was noticeable gum sensitivity. Soda Alert: Recent university studies in Germany indicate that brushing your teeth immediately after drinking diet or regular sodas can cause layers of the teeth to deteriorate. It seems that tooth enamel becomes thinner when brushing occurs within 60 minutes of exposure to soda; and dentin, beneath the enamel, erodes when brushing takes place within 20 minutes after contact with soda. The wearing away of enamel can cause teeth to appear yellow - by exposing the dentin- and dentin erosion often increases sensitivity. University researchers recommend waiting at least one hour to brush teeth after consuming soda. More Tips about Image | | | |
