THE 2-BUTTON SUIT RETURNS!


For many years I have advised my male clients to resist the "new" look in suits with three buttons. This was for two reasons: Number One: They do not fall at the natural waistline, as does the two-button suit, so that they do not "move" with the body with motions such as bending to pick up a briefcase. As a result, a certain stiffness is imparted. Number Two: They simply make you look somewhat "buttoned up" - plus they hide too much of a man's power tool: his tie.
