Go For Overall Impression!

Jennifer is an I.T. specialist, so she doesn't need to "dress up" for her job. In fact, she is just getting out of the Navy and decided she needed to find out how to dress for an interview in the civilian world. She will be looking for a manager's job.

Dress UP, not down. When you are interviewing for a job, always dress a level higher than is necessary. Unless you want to stay at the same job your entire career, that is. Pantsuits are de rigeur for most female I.T. personnel, because of the physical activity required. For an interview, however, always dress to impress. The more polished and professional you look, the better.

Jennifer left her image session and headed straight for an all-day job fair. She left her resume with several companies, and then decided to take a stroll through the fair. Suddenly, an interviewer left his booth and approached her to ask if she would like to submit her resume. Without a doubt, as you can see from the photo above, Jennifer was dressed to impress!
