We’re just a click away! Lincoln Military Housing is pleased to introduce the new website for its Hampton Roads residents. The easy-to-navigate web
pages will allow you to submit maintenance requests and read the newsletter on-line. There is also a handy link to let newcomers check out our
housing and view photos of the inside/outside of homes. You will find helpful links to sites of interest in the area as well as a list of the
local hospitals and religious facilities. Many of your questions about your lease and Lincoln policies can be answered by visiting the Frequently
Asked Questions section. You can even read important news and information from your housing office and see the weather forecast!
We hope you find the website to be another quality service provided by Lincoln Military Housing.
Last chance to register for Dinner and A Class!

RSVP ends February 12th
This month’s Dinner and A Class will be held on Friday, February 17th, from 6 to 8:30 pm. The
class will take place at the Quality Inn, located on Northampton Blvd. in Norfolk. We will provide a free
dinner, child care, and your choice of two courses taught by FFSC instructors. Choose one of these classes and RSVP by February 12th to

Remember, this event is open only to Lincoln Military Housing residents, and reservations for child care are accepted until spaces are full.

Class Choice #1 – Art of Money Management

This workshop provides in-depth instruction and information on developing successful money management skills. Topics include understanding and
using credit, Navy pay and allowances, spending strategies, and how to save and invest.

Class Choice #2 – Parenting in a Military Family & Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP):School-age
This workshop includes effective strategies to encourage children to behave appropriately. You will learn how to effectively communicate with
your children. Additional topics include child development, temperament, expecting and giving respect, and the impact that a military lifestyle has
on children.

Spouse Club series kicks off in March!
Featuring Sandy Dumont, the Image Architect

March 18th 10:30-3:00pm
The Founders Inn, Va. Beach
Registration begins March 1st and ends March 12th

Join us for an afternoon of relaxation and pampering at our first event in the Spouse Club series. Sandy
Dumont, The Image Architect, will be conducting a customized image make-over workshop just for our
Lincoln Military Housing spouses. Dumont, a columnist, author, and radio show host, is internationally
renowned as an image expert. This “hands on” workshop is both fun and informative. She will advise  on what colors to wear
and which ones to avoid. Audience participation is encouraged! You’ll leave this seminar feeling refreshed and looking great!

Lincoln will unveil its Spouse Club series on March 18. Every other month, we will have either a dinner or luncheon followed by
an interesting and entertaining guest speaker or performer. These events are designed to offer military spouses a wonderful
evening of free food, fun, and child care. We encourage our residents to become Spouse Club members by attending these events on
a regular basis.There are no requirements for membership. We hope to see you there!
